ROARK Great Dane Young Male in Washington, Tennessee

My story
Here at the end of 2022 there came a call from a person in rural Tennessee that said two Great Dane pups were found abandoned in the freezing cold at Christmas.  An area in this small town that is famous as being a dumping ground for animals that are not wanted.  For the life of us we could not imagine why two male and female Great Dane pups were now roaming dazed and confused about what was happening to them.  Fortunately, these people picked them up and contacted a rescue person who enlisted Critter Cavalry Rescue to help them find the right homes.  This male boy is called Roark and he is a Harlequin Great Dane that is about 8-10 months old and weighs around 48 pounds.  He is seemingly healthy and we still are shaking our head as to why they were not safely brought to a local shelter for housing and placement instead of the dumping and abandonment.  This is the side of humans that doesn’t make sense.   These pups are wonderful with people and love children.  They are great with other dogs and we are now seeking the right Great Dane savvy homes for each one of these pups.  If you are interested in knowing more and receiving an application please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com     PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at /adoption.January 19, 2023, 9:27 am
