LinQuest was recently awarded a 5-year contract to support an USG advanced program office providing system engineering, program management, acquisition support and high-end engineering. Our team is seeking mid, senior and SME level engineers who want to make an impact on advanced weapon systems to serve the warfighter. We are seeking engineers with 5-20 years of experience in Space Systems, Systems Architecture, Electronic Warfare Sensor Development and Information Assurance. Engineers must have the ability to bring far-reaching advancing technology into operations to satisfy an emerging threat.

Past experience knowledge and experience on ACAT I or equivalent development programs to include:
research, design, development, test and fielding across a product s full-life cycle are required.

A team who can envision what emerging new technologies/advancement can deliver and possess the ability to bring ideas into reality. Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide systems engineering expertise and support to emerging USAF Air and Space -related mission areas.
  • Apply analytic techniques to assess emerging new developments and technology investments.
  • Perform Analyses of Alternatives and provide System of systems (SoS) and Family of Systems (FoS) recommendations to meet current and emerging USAF emerging mission requirements.
  • Assist Air Force Program Managers in executing the development planning process including evaluating Development Planning (DP) requests, developing the concept characterization and technical description document, assisting the government in staffing, and interfacing with variety of stakeholders.
  • Apply rigorous analytic techniques to assess emerging disciplines and technology investments.Assess Analyses of Alternatives and provide SoS and FoS recommendations to meet aerospace enterprise requirements and capabilities; identify and assess alternatives for achieving new mission effective capabilities (levels of solution from the full requirements compliance to the minimum acceptable capability), technical alternatives, alternative architectures; identify and report capabilities that could have an important impact on national security needs; identify and report alternative SoS and FoS concepts to support the Advanced management organization s ability to inform Headquarters Air Force and Office of Secretary of Defense staff on selection and prioritization of force structure modernization or sustainment decision options.

  • Assist in the development of candidate architectures which are more resilient to emerging threats and/or are more affordable than existing architectures and systems; provide detailed analysis to bolster/support investment decisions, orbit characterization, performance, resilience, costing, trade-space characterization, and requirements mapping. Assist Air Force in executing the development planning process including evaluating Development Planning (DP) requests, developing the concept characterization and technical description document, assisting the government in staffing, and interfacing with variety of stakeholders.

  • Broad range of experiences in system architecting, modeling, simulation, analysis, developing concepts, early systems engineering, soliciting concepts from industry and stakeholders
  • BSEE/CS/Engineer or related technology required
  • Active TS/SCI is required
  • 10-15+ years in a highly technical field to include:
    Space, Satellite, Avionics, Materials, SE&I, Acquisition and Cyber security.

  • Experience supporting ACAT I programs highly desirable
