Job Summary Position:

Supervisory Management & Program Analyst (Unit Chief), GS-15 Division: Counterintelligence Division (CD) Section: Counterintelligence Analysis Section II Unit: Data and Technology Exploitation Unit (DTXU) Location: Washington, DC Working Hours: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm Salary: GS-15: $131,767 - $161,900 Full Performance level: GS-15 Number of Positions Available: 1 Duration: Not-to-Exceed (NTE) August 2019 This position will be filled by detail or through temporary promotion.Incumbent selected for this position will be returned to his/her former position or other comparable grade or location after the assignment is completed.If this position is filled through temporary promotion, the selection may be made permanent without further competition.Temporary promotion may be terminated at any time at the discretion of management.The DTXU serves as the FBI Counterintelligence Division's (CD's) advocate for technology capabilities and solutions, and house an analytic team with expertise in exploiting that data for operational purposes against CD priority threats.The DTXU will serve as the division's expert clearinghouse for analytic software tools and techniques supporting counterintelligence analysis and operations.

All FBI supervisors promoted after January 2013 are required to attend and complete the Leadership Development Program-s (LDP) Leading People course before the expiration of their probationary period. This four day, instructor-led course will help prepare supervisors for the leadership challenges specific to their new roles. Leading people will be held at the National Conference Center (NCC) in Leesburg, VA.
